Last week we discoverd a great challenge in one of our favourite blogs, Shoeperwoman, a challenge for everyone (errr... women) who has a few pairs of shoes in her closet that never get to see the light of day (mea culpa!). Those shoes you got for your cousin's wedding, or that day you felt bad and needed a boost, a gift you didn't need, or that pair in sales you just couldn't resist. And they're still there, gathering dust...
So that's the challenge: you need to wear all of your shoes in one year, the ones that don't get to be worn are discarted, donated or sold in ebay, or maybe go to shoe heaven. At first the idea sounded great, it would be nice to have some more room in the closet, but thinking about it more closely we realised that we tend to associate memories to shoes and what sounded like a great idea becomes a stress factor, which ones to throw away?So we decided we weren't ready for such a shock therapy ... maybe next year? And how about you, could you do it?
