Gorgeous

Já foi dito por aqui que somos apegadas às nossas músicas de sempre, somos quase cabeças duras,  fieis a alguns nomes,  e nem sempre as novidades nos atraem, por isso quando isso acontece, é digno de registo. É o caso da fabulosa Adele, que já conhecíamos da fase do Chasing Pavements e da Homegrown Glory, em 2007 ou 2008, mas que na altura, não nos cativou particularmente.

Mas aquela performance dos Brit Awards em Fevereiro mudou tudo. Arrepiante é a melhor palavra que a descreve. A intensidade com que as palavras são proferidas, e aquela voz, aquela mulher lindíssima com pele de porcelana, a expor a sua fragilidade ao mundo fizeram de nós fãs imediatas. E só tem 21 anos, damn it!

It's been told around here before, that we're faithful to our favourite bands and songs, we're hard to convince, staying true to some names and not always open to new ones... so when it happens, we like to tell you all about it. It happened recently with the awesome Adele, who we have known since 2007 or 2008, with her songs, Chasing Pavements and Homegrown Glory. But it didn't really capture us back then. But that performance at the Brit Awards changed it all. Chilling is the best word for it. The intensity of the words, that voice and that gorgeous woman and her porcelain skin, exposing her feelings to the world, made us instant fans. Have we told you she's only 21? Damn it! We woke up late to her, but better late than ever...
